“The End of an Era”

When the news broke that Fidel Castro was dead the city of Miami exploded in celebration. While the mainstream media and world leaders scramble to speak highly of Fidel Castro. The people, the families he affected directly, the citizens that fled the island and would rather swim 80 miles vs living in the horrific living conditions of Cuba were out celebrating the death of the Devil.
The state of the island after his passing a different conversation all together. There is one thing for certain about all of us of Cuban decent. we wish our passed loved ones were still here to celebrate and with that said, Director and Artist Michael Garcia shot the celebration in front of Miami’s iconic Versailles Cuban Restaurant and captured some great moments. A portion of the proceeds are being donated to RootsOfHope.org
Michael Garcia’s “THE END OF AN ERA” is a coffee table book that captures the celebration that occurred in Miami, Fl the day after the death of Fidel Castro. The stunning photography proves that November 26, 2016 is a day that will not soon be forgotten for the millions of Cuban Americans in Miami, Fl. 50% of proceeds will go to the charity Roots Of Hope.
