Andrea Mavares (“Dre Mav”) was born in the Magic City- Miami on June 4th, 1984. Since a very young age she was mesmerized by the entertainment industry. Coming from a very musically inclined family on both her mother and father’s side, she was naturally drawn to music and the arts. During her school years, Andrea recorded her own music at local recording studios and was a part of the school chorus through which she was given many soloist positions. Andrea also participated in school talent shows and other productions that allowed her to obtain several awards and share her talents with the world. At the age of 12, she joined Just Dance It Dance Studios under the direction of Alina Lanza. Andrea quickly became one of the stars of the Advanced Competition Team and alongside her teammates won several awards at various national dance competitions including but not limited to Dance Power. When Andrea was 15, she began working for a banquet hall as the resident Master of Ceremony, Choreographer and occasional “press & play” DJ. Andrea has provided Event Planning and Master of Ceremony services for all types of events in the South Florida area ever since, and has completed the Event Planner course with TRENDIMI. Andrea graduated from Miami Media School in 2017 after pursuing her career in Radio, Broadcasting and Media. She has 2 radio shows (Our House With Dre Mav and GTR305- GirlTLKRadio) on Miami Underground Radio, providing a platform for all types of artists to display their talents, promote events, assist in charity/volunteer work, and much more. Andrea is now an official member of Day By Day Lifestyles Ent., Inc. (working under her own company “Dre Mav Productions, LLC.) as the Creative Director/Marketing Guru/A&R/Assistant. Andrea also continues to collaborate with local artists in photography, documentaries, songwriting, performance, production and recording of music and is the Production Assistant and a Voice Over Talent at VOA Studios Miami, being hands-on with international projects from prestigious clients such as Netflix. We hope to see and hear more of Andrea as her entertainment career is evolving rapidly and is establishing her permanent place within the industry.
