Miami Heat Parade 2012
Watching the Miami Heat win a Championship has made the world a better place if you ask me.
On top of that being able to not only watch but be a part of the parade for the Miami Heat was great. How did this happen? Well I have to thank the Chop Shop Barber Shop for letting me hitch a ride on the roof of their truck during the parade. It was amazing! The most important part of this all is that not only did the fans come out but they could have easily over thrown a small country somewhere. Next time you hear Charles Barkley say anything with Miami in it… just chuckle. That guy is getting crazy with age. Soon he’ll tell you he has more rings than Eddie Curry, c’mon! I have to say that Miami made me proud today. People from all walks of life came out to show support and congratulate the team.
The set of pictures are from my point of view, which is fairly close to what the players saw as they rode through downtown MIami. There were people lining up since early in the morning (8am) waiting to waive and get a glimpse of the championship team in the frenzy of media and photographers. It was especially good to see the amount of Don’t Hate, Let them Hate, Run Mia, and many other shirts floating in the crowd. Although tourists were loving it… there were a handful that didn’t care about the celebration and just wanted to get from point A – B. That’s ok though. It’s the Miami Heat Championship Parade what did they expect?
I hope you guys enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them. Big thank you to the Chop Shop aka the A-Team for an incredible experience. Yes, a few pics are blurry, so what?!?
